Vista Mar is a studio in a rural house and is ideal for two people.
There is a terrace of about 50 m2 which includes a barbecue and an inflatable jacuzzi. This terrace is sunny and has a wide view to the ocean and agricultural land. There is also an outdoor parking area.
The studio is 40 m2 and includes one double bed, two armchairs, a dining table, kitchenette and bathroom.
Is equipped with refrigerator, hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, TV with international and children’s channels, and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay.
LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS
The property is in a rural area near the village of Ponta do Sol, where there is a beach and some restaurants and cafes.
Ponta do Sol is located in the southwestern part of the island, which has the best weather conditions in Madeira.
A few kilometres away there are stunning cliffs, mountains and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers and hikers.
The property has easy access to the major roads.
DETAILS TO NOTE
Cleaning is done before guests check in and then there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes the change of bed linen and towels. To increase the frequency, an additional cleaning service must be requested.
The accommodation is officially registered, meets the requirements to ensure safety and comfort, and has a complaints book controlled by the competent authorities.

1. Parties or behaviours that disturb the peace and well-being of the neighbours are not allowed, especially between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am when noise is forbidden.
2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential information for check-in and mandatory identification data of all foreign guests. This form has to be filled and submitted by the guest at least two days before arrival.
3. Guests must agree the check-in time at least two days before arrival. The waiting time for check-in is 60 minutes after the agreed time. After 60 minutes from the agreed time, a new time can be agreed according to our availability.
4. Guests must present identification document upon arrival and to fill an identification form if needed to comply with legal requirements.
The landlord has not filled the internet speed yet. Ask them to clarify this.
Once you send a reservation request, the landlord is notified that you are interested in their offer. From that moment, they have 24 hours to approve or reject your reservation.
Landlords are mainly interested in the profile of their tenant. Do not forget to fill in all necessary information, add your profile picture, or even make a short video about yourself. Doing that will make you more attractive for the owner and your reservation will more likely get approved.

If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the landlord and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
If you move in and find that the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on Flatio at the time the reservation request was sent to the landlord, you can withdraw from the lease agreement under certain circumstances explained in this article in our help center.
Also, under our "secure move-in" policy, we'll assist you with moving to an alternative accommodation if you report within a certain period of time that the rental unit doesn't match the ad and the landlord doesn't fix the problem immediately. You can read the details in our help center.
How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.
Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your reservation request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the reservation before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the landlord accepts your reservation, their property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
Do you have an approved reservation and also a valid agreement? In order to cancel your reservation, contact Flatio customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time and amount of refund depends on the type of cancelation policy).
