I loved the ability to break up the cost of our stay into monthly rental payments, having no deposit was great, the payment process in general was straight-forward, it was reasonably priced. I would definitely use Flatio again if they feature in locations I plan to visit.

A really clever idea and we are so thankful for this service. Having no deposit, having a vetting process, and being able to easily communicate with the landlords were the top three reasons we chose this service. Also, I was always able to get support when I had questions. I've already recommended Flatio to many people.

Mobile app is very limited. Also, the site seems too focused on flats and a bit of a hack to add a house. Actually in Portugal, short term rental for flat is actually illegal in most condominiums.

Services are good. Booking a new place during the busy time of the season has proved a bit difficult. Multiple attempts to book that ended up canceled through non response of the landlord and outright rejections. The coupon was a nice gesture, but I couldn’t make use of it due to the cancellations. After trying to use the coupon again on another booking, after being previously canceled, I was informed that the coupon no longer was valid. It was basically wasted on a canceled booking attempt. In the end I had to go with Airbnb as I know that more often then not, if it’s showing on their system then it’s available. Cancellations do happen on Airbnb, but my experience tells me that this is a rare occurrence. I hope that helps.
