Incredibly nice hosts and a really cool coliving experience! We had regularly community events from board games to wine & painting. The work space was really well equipped and the kitchen was outstanding. We really enjoyed cooking all kinds of dishes!
Whenever you feel like moving between working hours you can just walk into the beautiful garden and play a tournament of badminton or enjoy the sun.
We would definitely come back!! Thank you <3

Bianca and her husband Johnny were the perfect hosts at their Transylvanian Coliving in Sibiu, Romania. There are more than 10 bedrooms available in their space with a large garden in the back of the house, an area to work, and even board games. Most bedrooms have their own bathrooms and a generous amount of space to relax and have your privacy. You can also cook in the kitchen and a rent a city bike to go into the town of Sibiu easily. I wanted to stay much longer than I did and regretted that I only stayed for a few days! I will be back!
I had a WONDERFUL stay with Bianca and Johnny at their Transylvanian CoLiving! Great property location, walkable to historic center, well managed, all private bedrooms with ensuite baths, super clean, excellent co-working space, and huge backyard. There was also a garden party and potluck meals during my visit. I'm very much looking forward to a longer stay when I return!
I stayed at Transylvanian Coliving for over 3 months. It's a perfect place for working, relaxing, study and socializing. The rooms are very cozy and the garden is a beauty. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and it's fun to prepare meals there everyday. The hosts are very helpful and kind people, regularly organizing different fun activities and occasionally spoiling guests with tasty little treats from the kitchen. I can highly recommend it for long-term digital nomads, remote workers or location independent people that like to live an enriching community experience while getting some serious work done. Great landlord. I love the place in Transylvania. Convenient access to the city center, spacious backyard, spacious workspace, comfy beds, great wifi. Sibiu is a beautiful city in Romania! I would totally stay here again.
Johnny and Bianca are amazing hosts. They are very friendly and they make you feel at home right away. The Transylvanian Coliving is in an awesome location with a nice garden, and the rooms are spacious and kept clean. The visitors, digital nomads, influencers, travelers and remote workers, staying for different periods of time, even a few months are also one of the main reasons that the Transylvanian Coliving community has such a great vibe. I definitely recommend staying here, embracing the coliving experience, and attending the events organized constantly by Johnny and Bianca, in the shared spaces and in the city. PS: Sibiu is an awesome city, built on the old medieval citadel, full of tourists from all over the world, all year around, and you can see the highest mountains in Romania from anywhere in the city. Don't miss this trip!
About me
Johnny and I opened Transylvanian Coliving in the summer of 2023, after living as digital nomads for the past 3 years, me as a software engineer and him as an English teacher. We saw the need for such spaces dedicated to location independent people in Romania, and decided to create one that checks our own boxes in the hopes that it would check other people's too. We live here in the beautiful city of Sibiu, with everything within walking distance and a comfortable place to live and work. Join us, be part of the community, participate in our board game nights and ski/snowboard in the surrounding area in winter.
