Apartment J&M – Comfortable Long-Term Stay in the

I had the absolute pleasure of renting this apartment from Dunja for two months, and it was a fantastic experience. The flat is incredibly stylish, spacious, and spotlessly clean, with a perfect location right next to the old town in Split. It is fully equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay, including practical items like an iron and an ironing board.

What truly made my stay special, however, was Dunja herself. She is such a lovely and thoughtful landlady! She went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home immediately. The apartment was prepared with a warm duvet, fresh sheets, plenty of towels, bathroom cosmetics, and all the necessary cleaning supplies. When I arrived, she had thoughtfully provided coffee, bread, butter, eggs in the fridge, and even cookies in the cupboard so I had plenty to eat right away. To top it all off, she even surprised me with a sweet goodbye gift when it was time to leave. I cannot recommend Dunja and her apartment highly enough!

Neighborhood
The location of the apartment is absolutely perfect. It is situated on Manđerova street, which is just a short, easy walk (under 10 minutes) right into Diocletian's Palace and the heart of the Old Town. Because it sits slightly north of the main tourist maze, it feels like a genuine, vibrant local neighborhood rather than a crowded tourist trap. You have all the everyday conveniences nearby, but also great nightlife—having the fantastic Paloma Nera cocktail bar right on the doorstep was such a fun bonus! It’s also incredibly practical for getting around, as taxis and Ubers can easily drop you off right at the street, which isn't possible in the pedestrian-only zones of the historic center.
