About the accommodation
This bright room offers a very comfortable king size double bed with an ensuite shower and toilet. With its two big windows you have a beautiful view over the old neighboring church and the surrounding mountains. You also get a wardrobe, bedside tables and underbed drawers to store all your things. The antique wood burner gives it an additional charm and warmth in the winter.

This homey co-living community and retreat center was newly created in the countryside of Bulgaria by an experienced yoga teacher and solo female traveller. With her knowledge and first hand experience, she has built this incredible place to welcome digital nomads, Workaway volunteers, travellers and remote workers together.

The fun, friendly team provides a supportive environment and the house’s shared areas are cosy and welcoming.

Their well-equipped work areas allow you to excel in your working life. The kitchen with its wood stove and big table, is the main social area where the community gathers for family meals. The meditation room is perfect to hang-out and play games, while the outside courtyard, with its comfy chairs and couches is perfect for chill afternoon in the sun and fun evening drinks. They also have a fab rustic yoga barn.

You can hire your own personal yoga equipment set for the duration of your stay in addition to mountain bikes. You are free to self practice as you wish and they provide classes.

The house is great for all seasons with wood stoves in every room and patio heaters in the outside lounge area, as well as big windows, a big courtyard and a pool to make the most of summer.

Flora and fauna
The accommodation is located near the Central Balkan National Park area. The park takes an area of 21k hectares and as much as 80% of its territory are forests. They are home for a great variety of wildlife habitats, like: bears, wolves, golden eagles, red deers and many more. This region is also known for its complex mountain terrain so prepare yourself for breath-taking views.

In the area around Veliko and Tryavna there are endless places to visit and explore including caves, monasteries, vineyards or rose fields. Bulgaria’s Rose Valley­ is one of the symbols of Bulgaria. The rose oil produced here, sometimes called a "liquid gold", is a main ingredient in the world of fragrances and cosmetic industry.

Social ecosystem
Only 3 km away from the accommodation you will find the mountain mineral spa. Voneshta Voda, translated as "smelly waters" is easily accessible by bike or car and can be a very relaxing and healing experience. For a relatively small fee, guests can use the facilities of the largest Spa Hotel in Voneshta Voda, which include indoor pool, seasonal outdoor pool mineral lake, sauna and gym. You can also book massages with the hotel's freelance masseuse who is highly recommended and provides a variety of treatments.

The city Tryavna is just 7km away from the accommodation. You can get there through a well maintained but quite mountain road, which takes you directly over the mountain cross with its spectacular views. In just 10 minutes you will arrive in this old town famous for its traditional Bulgarian architecture, wood carving, museums and 11th century churches.

Tryavna has a wide selection of restaurants, bars and cafes with multilingual menus. It will offer you now only great photo opportunities, but also amazing cuisine, craft beers, riverside restaurants, clock tower square and many more.

How to get there
There are four international airports:

A rental car is cheap & easy, the accommodation recommends TopCarRental, but you can also get to Tryavna by bus or train.
Taxis are cheap and the accommodation can arrange the airport transfer if needed.

From Sofia airport by bus: take a shuttle bus to Sofia (8 min, €6-8), then take a bus to Tryavna (3:40h, €7-11)

From Burgas airport by train: take a taxi to Burgas (€5-7) and then a train "RE" to Dabovo (2:10h, €4-7) in Dabovo take a train to Tryavna (1:08h, €1-2)
