"Fernando" place is situated in the heart of ALFAMA, the oldest neighborhood, in a free-car and picturesque medieval street. You will just fall in love with its lifestyle, hidden backstreets, and also... with the famous Flea Market a short walk away!
"FERNANDO" 2-Bedroom Apartment is cosy and airy (42m2), with lots of light. Has 2 bedrooms +3 beds + 2 balconies with side river view .You can wake with Tejo River and the incredible morning views! Kitchen and Bathroom also have little typical windows.
The place is a Tribute to our sweet Neighbors, who used to take care of us when we were children and our parents used to work in the Flea Market. This Family lived here for generations, since the XIX century and the house was renewed to preserve their history and memories.
You will find family´s pictures and paintings on the wall, some furniture and personal hobbies and details. And here you will experience the lifestyle and spirit of Alfama`s typical old houses with charming tiny spaces and windows!
The apartment is CENTRAL LOCATED on a 2nd-floor old building (similar to a 3rd one), in a free-car medieval street, where students from university and old neighbors move in. And here most of the people know each other!
Just picture yourself at the little balcony enjoying the local ambience or drinking a beer at the local Café while chating with our friendly neighbors who also live in Alfama neighborhood for ages.
The Family apartment is at WALKING DISTANCE TO EVERYWHERE! A few steps from the famous Flea Market, and close to Tejo River where you can do some walking, running or cycling. Within 10/15 min from the City Center and main Lisboa spots.
If you like walking you are in the best neighborhood to get lost and enjoy the city, and if you like to use public transport they are all quite accessible. Just 5 min walking to Santa Apolónia Station with Train/Metro (Blue line)/Buses (nº.728)/taxis/Parking (8€/24h). You can also take the Yellow 28 Tram, 10 minutes from the house.
Right outside the house you will find stores to buy supplies, cafés, bars, restaurants, bakery, self-service laundry, supermarket, pharmacy, bank and a little playground.
In order to assure your healthy and safety we are following all the cleaning process imposed by the health authorities. We live nearby and also provide an useful Information`s List about Alfama and Lisboa.

The rent includes NET/TV expenses. It also includes WATER up to 50€ and ELECTRICITY up to 50€ (wich is enough considering a reasonable use).
Alfama is the oldest Lisboa neighborhood, the building dates from the XVIII century and it`s located in a medieval street, only access by walk. Taxi/Uber stops just 5 minutes walking from the street.
Like most of these apartments doesnt have elevator and the staircase is steep. But it`s worth the view!
Doesnt have sound-proof... you can hear both birds singing and the lively neighborhood!Ceilings and frame doors can be low for guests taller than 1.90.
Once you send a reservation request, the landlord is notified that you are interested in his/her offer. From that moment, he/she has 24 hours to approve or reject your reservation.
Landlords are mainly interested in the profile of their tenant. Do not forget to fill in all necessary information, add your profile picture, or even make a short video about yourself. Doing that will make you more attractive for the owner and your reservation will more likely get approved.
You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every offer. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.

How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.
Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, if the owner has already approved your reservation request and you are no longer interested in it, only Flatio customer support can cancel it within 24 hours of approval. After this period, the reservation request can also be canceled by the owner.
Do you have an approved reservation and also a valid contract? In order to cancel your reservation for FREE, contact Flatio customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time depends on the type of cancellation policy).
