I wasn't able to accept/decline the reservation within the 24-hour deadline. What should I do?

In this article, you can learn what you can do if you don't manage to react within the 24-hour window and the request expires.

To begin with it is worth noting that if you fail to respond to a reservation request within the approval period, our system will automatically reject it (this rejection then counts into 3 unauthorized rejections under the 3 Rejections Rule).

Despite this rejection it may happen that the housing applicant is really interested in your offer and will create a reservation request for your housing again - in this case you will be able to decide whether to accept the request or not. However, if a new reservation request is not created, you can try to contact the housing applicant through the Messages section and ask him for a new reservation request.

To prevent this situation we recommend that you decide to accept or decline each reservation request as quickly as possible. The longer a person waits for your decision, the more likely it is they will look for an alternative offer.
